Modules
01Finding Your Voice
Confident communication is not being loud, quick or clever. It is saying what you mean clearly enough that the other person can respond to it. That is a skill, and like every skill in this course it can be broken into steps and practised.
02Expressing Needs & Asking for Help
Asking for help is a safety skill and a life skill. The people who manage best are not the ones who never need help — they are the ones who ask early, ask the right person, and give the information that lets someone actually help.
03Making Decisions & Setting Boundaries
Decisions feel hard when they are held all at once. A simple structure — options, what matters, pick, review — makes most everyday decisions manageable. Boundaries are decisions about yourself, said out loud.
04Appointments, Phone Calls & Forms
Phone calls, bookings and forms are where many people lose confidence — not because they cannot do them, but because they are unpredictable. A script and a checklist take most of the unpredictability out.
05Building & Keeping Relationships
Relationships are built on small, regular contact far more than on big gestures. A message, a call, turning up to the same group each week — these are the bricks. This module is about the habits and skills that make relationships easier to build and keep.
Who it’s for
For anyone who finds it hard to be heard — in appointments, on the phone, with services, or with the people close to them. The course is practical and gentle, with scripts you can adapt and small activities to practise in real situations.
Questions
I get anxious speaking. Will this help?
The course gives you simple scripts and lets you practise in low-pressure ways first — writing, then rehearsing, then real situations with support if you want it.
Can I use a communication device or support person?
Absolutely. Every activity works with whatever communication method you use, and a support person can help you prepare and practise.
